Teachers Toddlers Good Money Habits

As a child, I learned many lessons from my parents. However, there was one topic we rarely discussed: Money. I’ve vowed to set the stage differently for my own kids. By teaching them the basics early on, we can set them up for good spending, saving, and giving decisions throughout life.

My son is 3 years old. It’s important to me that he has gratitude and appreciation for all that he has. I recently attended a finance workshop, where I got the idea of the “3 clear jars” to teach my son about money.

I marked one jar “Spending,” the other “Savings,” and the last “Giving.”
